This first concert of a three-season residency in Brussels by the Amsterdam-based Koninklijk Concertgebouw orchestra features star pianist Maurizio Pollini and conductor Mariss Jansens.

The residency gets off to a flying start: one of the world's finest orchestras, with a legend on the piano and another as conductor. The programme is made up of Schumann's Piano Concerto, the quintessence of the Romantic spirit, and Bruckner's Seventh Symphony, a veritable cathedral in sound.
